Next, you will be directed to a comprehensive questionnaire. Here, you let us know what services you offer so we know which pages to include, we’ll ask questions about your career and skills so we can write your bio, plus a range of questions about your website so we understand your preferences.
You will also be prompted to upload your logo and any photos. If you don’t have these to hand, you can send them later.
Once your questionnaire is complete and any photos have been received, we aim to supply your draft website within 5 business days.
You will be invited to send one round of edits before we go live. You may include as many individual edits in this round, but they must be submitted in a single round.
Once complete, we will set up your domain name (or connect one if you already own the name you want to use), and go live with your new website!
You are welcome to requerst further edits to your website, however these fall within the scope of Maintenance (see Maintenance FAQ below)
All websites include a Home page, About page, Gallery, Privacy Policy and Contact Us page as standard.
You may also request a Policies page during the setup process at no additional cost. If you choose this option, you will need to provide the content.
Most importantly, your website includes a range of Services pages. During the questionnaire process, you can specify which services you would like to include on your website.
The following pages are available. Remember, you choose which of these pages are added to your website:

For each service, we will ask you to be specific during the questionnaire process. For example, if you offer permanent makeup, we will ask you to specify which services exactly (brows, lips etc) so we can add them to your website.
If you choose our combined website and SEO services, your website will contain significantly more pages to enable the strongest keyword targeting on Google. For example, without SEO, your website might contain a “Permanent Makeup” page describing your eyebrow, eyeliner and lip services. With SEO you still get a “Permanent Makeup” page, however each individual service (brows, liner, lips) will have its own dedicated page.Â
Remember, you can add, remove or change pages after we go live. It’s all included in the service.
SEO is a brilliant investment, and will pay dividends throughout the life of your business. Unlike paid ads (Google Ads, Facebook Ads etc), with SEO you retain your elevated Google positioning for many months, even years, after you finish paying.
SEO comes with a minimum commitment of 6 months, however almost every artist continues with SEO long after then as the impact on their business is so positive. Many artists find they never need to advertise again, after a good run of quality SEO.
How does SEO affect my website?
If you choose our combined website and SEO services, or our SEO-only service, we do the following:
- Optimise the text content, headlines, title tags and META descriptions on your website to attract the best Google rankings.
- Add significantly more pages to your website for broader keyword targeting on Google.
- Optimise your Google Business listing.
- Build high quality links to your website every month on an ongoing basis. These links are the cornerstone of strong Google rankings, and are critical if you want to rank highly on Google and Google Maps.
Permanent makeup artists
A website without SEO will include all your eyebrow, eyeliner and lip services detailed on a primary service page called “permanent makeup”, and depending what services you offer, you might get additional primary pages included such as “paramedical”, “aesthetics” or “beauty”.
If you choose a website with SEO included, you also get a range of secondary pages, with each individual service (brows, lips etc) on its own dedicated page.
SMP artists
If you choose a website without SEO, it will typically have all your services listed and described on a page called “scalp micropigmentation”.
Choose a website with SEO, and you also get secondary pages called SMP for men, SMP for women, SMP for scars and SMP for alopecia.
Which option should I choose?
Our Standard SEO service suits the needs of most PMU and SMP artists. However, you should consider Enhanced SEO under the following circumstances:
- You’re in a highly competitive location
- You have many strong, well established competitors
- You want to climb the Google search results as quickly as possible
Aside from a dedicated Account Manager and quarterly review calls, clients who choose a website with Enhanced SEO get a larger number of more powerful links, to produce stronger results on a shorter timescale.
All Blaze customers with an SEO service get a FREE Google review QR stand.
This smart little stand features your clinic logo and a handy QR code. When scanned, your customer is taken straight to your Google Business listing and prompted to write a review.
When integrated into your post-procedure routine, this QR stand will result in a significant increase in the number of Google reviews you receive.
Google reviews are important for reputation management, but they also play a role in your rankings on Google Maps, hence why all Blaze SEO clients are supplied with one for their clinic.

We do! Serving PMU and SMP artists since 2009, we know your world and your customers as well as you do. Leave us to do the heavy lifting, so you don’t have to.
Once all text has been added to your website, you can request any changes you like, either before the website goes live, or later on as part of your maintenance allowance.
Photos fall into two categories – Photos that dress your website pages and help them look amazing, and your client before and after photos.
Website dressing photos
These are the photos that adorn your pages, adding depth and interest and generally helping your website to look its best.
We have a full library of stock photos for this purpose, however if you’d rather use your own, or use some of your own alongside our stock photos, you will be prompted to send these to us as you go through the onboarding process.
We will place any photos you send to us in what we believe are the most appropriate places, however you can request any changes during or after the go-live process.
Before and after photos
Your treatment photos can be added to your service pages, as well as your custom Gallery (if you have one). You’ll be promoted to send these to us during the onboarding process, and if you want to change where we place them on your website, just let us know.
We routinely crop and resize before and after photos. Please note that more advanced changes, or processing large numbers of before and after photos, will incur an additional charge.
If you would prefer a large Gallery, consider an Instagram Gallery instead of a Custom Gallery.
All Blaze website clients can choose one of two gallery types – an Instagram gallery, or a custom gallery.
What is an Instagram gallery?
An Instagram gallery displays your most recent Instagram posts as a grid gallery on your website. This means your website gallery is always up to date with your latest Instagram posts. Your gallery can include your latest posts from multiple Instagram accounts if required. We can even give you a specific #hashtag to add to your posts, so only the posts you choose will be displayed in your website gallery.
An Instagram gallery is the recommended gallery type for most artists, as it does not require you to supply any photos, and it ensures your website always benefits from your latest content.
What is a custom gallery?
This is a traditional gallery where the photos that appear are the ones you send to us.
This option gives you complete control over what is displayed in your gallery, but it does mean you need to supply the photos, and your gallery will not update unless you provide new photos under your included maintenance time.
Both gallery types are included at no additional cost. Which one you choose is up to you.
Your website includes ongoing maintenance, sufficient to cover most day to day requests. You may request up to two hours of studio time per month with no additional fees.

The following tasks can be handled by our maintenance team:
- Adding or removing photos
- Editing text content and contact information
- Adding extra service or ancillary pages
- Editing calls to action
If you request any surplus or custom work outside the scope of your included maintenance, the cost is $50.00 per hour. Simply contact us, and we’ll estimate how many hours will be required.
Absolutely you can. In fact, we encourage you to do so! Keeping your website new and fresh is important, and we’re here to help you do just that.
Every 2 years, we invite you to view our latest designs, and choose a new look for your website. We’ll transfer all your content and latest updates to the new design and activate your new website free of charge.
If your current design is at least 2 years old and your payments are up to date, the chances are you’re eligible for a free upgrade. Simply submit a support request and we’ll let you know how to proceed.
Yes, popups are absolutely fine. We do not include popups during the initial website design process, however once you’re set up and your website is live, you can use your maintenance allowance to request a popup design.
We can do basic integrations, for example if you want to connect your popup to a Mailchimp list or something similar, free of charge within your maintenance allowance.
More complex requirements and integrations can be done, however these are chargeable at our standard hourly rate.
Want something better than Gmail or Hotmail? Why not get a professional email address that’s linked to your domain name?
For example, if your domain name is kellyspmu.com, we can provide email addresses like:
- info@kellyspmu.com
- kelly@kellyspmu.com
- training@kellyspmu.com
We can set up these addresses as full email accounts, or as forwarders.
What’s the difference?
A full email account allows you to send and receive using that email address. We provide the credentials required and instructions to set up the account on your devices.
A forwarder allows you to receive emails only. Any emails received are forwarded to your regular email address, and any emails or replies you send are sent from your regular email address.
For example, you could request the forwarder email address training@kellyspmu.com, but receive emails sent to that address in your usual Gmail or Hotmail mailbox. Your usual Gmail or Hotmail also handles any emails you send or reply to.
Forwarders require at least one paid full email account, but then you can have as many forwarders as you want. Forwarders require no setup on your devices.
Full email accounts cost $10 p/month. Forwarders are free, as long as you have at least one paid full email account with us.
You can buy email products when you order your website. Alternatively, you can add them later through our support team.

Once you’ve chosen your design and placed your order, we tailor the branding, colors and page selection of your website to meet the needs of your business.Â
Although other clinics may have chosen the same design, the customization options for each website are extensive, and therefore no two websites will ever look the same.
Also remember we service artists globally. Even if two websites were similar, the chance of that website belonging to a local competitor is extremely slim.
We build websites to be as unique as you are, and we’re adding new design options all the time to diversify the range even further.
All our websites are built in WordPress using the world’s most flexible and powerful builder interface, Elementor Pro.
If you wish to connect a domain name you already own, you will be prompted to edit the A record of the domain during the questionnaire process. Your domain registrar can assist with this, however please contact us if you need help.
No domain name? No problem! Just go to Namecheap.com to find a domain name you love. No need to register it, we’ll do it for you. You’ll be prompted to enter your chosen domain name during the questionnaire process.
If you would like us to register a domain name for you, please note we only accept .com, .net and .co.uk domain extensions. If you wish to use an alternative domain extension, for example .org, .es or .studio, please register the domain yourself then modify the A record as described above.
No, it is not possible to use your own hosting account.
For security reasons, we cannot provide access to the back-end of your website, or to our servers. Please note that any edits you require are covered, it’s all part of the service. Simply visit the support area to request an edit.
Artists sometimes require a separate landing page to target with paid ads, usually Facebook or Google ads. A typical landing page is optimized for conversions, with no visible navigation menu or “way out”.
As experts in conversion optimization, Blaze can add a pre-designed landing page to your website. Exactly how your landing page will look, depends on the design theme you chose for your main website.
If a third party agency is managing your landing page requirements, and they would like to add their landing to your website, we can create a subdomain, for example subdomain.yourdomain.com, for this purpose and provide you with an FTP account so your agency can upload the required files.
Please note: We reserve the right to refuse and/or remove content from your account if the content contains malware, spyware, other objectionable content, or becomes corrupted.
Costs are as follows:
- Landing page – $20 p/month
- Subdomain and FTP account – $10 p/month
Most artists only require one landing page or subdomain to fulfil their needs. You can request either of these when you order your website, or simply order through our support area.
Yes.
If you wish to purchase the website outright, and remove the need for monthly payments, you may do so at any time.
The following conditions apply:
- You must have your own hosting account and provide access so we can complete the transfer.
- You must have no payment arrears owed to us.
- You forfeit the right to any maintenance or support provided by our company.
- You must pay the appropriate purchase fee, as detailed below. Please note that purchase fees can be made by bank/wire transfer only. We do not accept purchase fee payments by credit or debit card.
Your purchase fee:
- If you have made 0-11 monthly payments, the purchase fee is $2400.
- If you have made 12 or more monthly payments, the purchase fee is $1200.
